After a VERY stressful few months of work and successfully pulling off a great client event, I was just itching to get out of the stuffiness that D.C. can be and head to sunny Miami to let loose. Miami Music Week was a refreshing break from work that allowed me to let out some serious steam and be wrapped up in amazing music!
Overpriced mojitos but hey! It was Miami Music Week.

Hello beach!
March is always a crazy month at work and so as a pre-stress release, my sister, some girlfriends and I went to Las Vegas. Four days was enough time to blow off steam and get our fill of parties and extravagant, gluttonous breakfast buffets. At night we were at Hakkasan for Tiesto, XS for Kaskade and Surrender for Lil Jon. We even squeezed in a hike at the beautiful Red Rock Canyon, about 40 minutes outside Las Vegas.
Inside the beautiful Wynn/Encore hotel. The butterfly motif weaved throughout the hotel was just beautiful with butterfly mosaics within the marble floors and glass mirrors, carpets strewn with color and decadent red light fixtures in the casino.
More butterfly tiles.
Loved the butterfly motif throughout the Wynn/Encore hotels.

Le Youth is hands down one of my most favorite producers. His brand is all cool California vibes and his music matches the image. Beachy beats, echoes of old school sounds and a delicious blend of deep house, R&B and hip-hop makes Le Youth have a distinct sound of his own. Check out photos from his show at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC opening for Robin Schultz.
Some friends and I took a long weekend and went to New York. It was a busy weekend of Brooklyn sight seeing, deep house music at Verboten and the biggest night of energy and bass with Bassnectar at Madison Square Garden. Good stuff people.
Hello Brooklyn Bridge
Verboten is probably my favorite spot in the city. So much good house music, an amazing light layout and a giant disco ball!

Rusko opened for Bassnectar at Madison Square Garden. We definitely needed some peace and quiet after that show.
I had a work trip in Orlando, Florida and wanted to share some photos from the Castle Hotel where we stayed. It was definitely a welcome warm trip and we luckily had some time for poolside lounging in between work events.

From May 23-25, 2015, Detroit’s Hart Plaza hosted the annual Movement Festival, steadily defining itself as America’s key techno showcase and drawing fans from across the globe. Movement is a celebration of love, pride and hope that captures the resilient spirit of Detroit by championing the do-it-yourself attitude of turning a grassroots idea into a reality. Though it’s hard to ignore the city’s economic woes, it’s impossible to forget Detroit is the birthplace of techno.
